Our base mix recipe makes a buttery brown sugar cookie, then you can stir in your add-ins to customize: chocolate chips, raisins, dried fruit, and nuts. Make them differently every time if you like, but we promise they'll always taste delicious!

Test kitchen tips

Egg replacement tips: both a flax egg replacer and a starch egg replacer work well with this mix. The flax replacer makes chewier cookies and the starch recipe, crisper ones.

To make this mix into a bar, just add up to 3 cups of assorted chips, dried fruit, chopped nuts and coconut, then spread into a greased or parchment-lined 9" x 13" pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 25 minutes.
