We offer you a variety of shipping options (options will vary depending on the destination). This allows you to balance cost versus delivery time, and make a shipping choice that's just right for you.

Our goal is to ship every order we receive by the end of the next business day.
2-Day & Overnight shipping
Orders placed by 12 noon (Eastern Time) Monday through Friday will ship the same day. Orders placed after noon Monday through Friday or any time on Saturday, Sunday, and holidays will ship the next business day.

Standard & FREE (when applicable) shipping

Most orders placed using our standard shipping option will be shipped using FedEx SmartPost and transferred to the US Postal Service for final delivery to your door or post office box. Orders over 15lbs typically ship and deliver to your home by FedEx Home Delivery.

Shipping the majority of our orders via FedEx SmartPost has allowed us to avoid raising our shipping rates and to provide you with delevery that best embraces the balance of service and affordability.

To avoid possible delays: If the US Postal Service does not deliver directly to your street address, and your PO Box and street address have the same zip code, please include both your PO Box and street in your shipping address. If your zip codes are not the same, please contact us at 800-827-6836 to place your order.

Shipping to Canada

Please note that orders are only able to ship within the U.S., temporarily. We truly appreciate our Canadian customers' understanding as we adapt our processes to meet the challenges posed by Covid-19.

We ship orders to Canada every weekday. Orders for in-stock merchandise placed by 12 noon Monday through Friday, will ship that day. Delivery should take 3-7 business days.

We appreciate doing business with our Canadian neighbors. Most of our 1200+ items are available for shipment to Canada and we are working to make more available. If you see an item you'd like to purchase and Ships within US only is included in the description, it is most likely because we have not yet completed the tariff classification process.

For an order delivered to your Canadian address, you'll be charged our regular ground shipping rate, plus an $18.00 flat fee to cover the higher Canadian shipping costs, customs brokerage fees, and Canadian duty (where applicable). Orders to the Northwest Territories, and to the Nunavut and Yukon territories, can only ship expedited; they require an additional $30.00 upcharge. Since this is a flat fee, we suggest you maximize your (American) dollars by placing fewer but larger orders; getting together with baking friends to place a group order is a good option.

In accordance with Canadian government and province tax laws, all non-food items are taxable. (That means all of our baking mixes and ingredients are tax-exempt!) Tax will be charged to your order based on current GST, PST, or HST rates.

At this time, King Arthur Baking merchandise is not available for resale or commercial use in Canada.

In order to ensure the proper Customs authorizations are in place, our shipper asks that the following statement be included on our website:

By ordering goods from The Baker's Catalogue, you authorize our Customs Broker to act as your agent to transact business with Canadian Border service Agency (CBSA) to clear merchandise, pay duties and taxes, and to handle any merchandise returns and refund claims on your behalf. You further waive and transfer your right to receive the actual amount of refund of duties and taxes to our Customs Broker. All duty and tax paid will, in turn, be refunded to you directly by The Baker's Catalogue. All import documentation pertaining to the entry will be retained by The Baker's Catalogue and can be made available upon request.

We ship only by Priority Mail International, a service of the US Post Office, and all orders must be paid for at the time of order via credit card. Shipping rates are calculated based on the total weight of the order.

To obtain a shipping quote, please call or fax us with the billing and shipping name and address, the item numbers you plan on ordering, as well as their quantities. We will respond with the total charges (including shipping and handling). We ask then that you let us know if you would like to proceed, at which time we will set up the order, email you with the order number and ask at that time for you to provide your credit card information via phone or fax. We are not able to accept payments via email for security reasons.

Note that we do not handle customs or tariff logistics, which are especially important for food items. We strongly encourage you to check into your country's shipping regulations before contacting us with an order.

We do not use third party shippers or allow pick-up for international orders under any circumstances.
